November Update

I wanted to post a quick update to say that Painless Prototyping is more or less laying dormant for the time being. If you would like to get in touch, feel free to shoot me a message on the contact page!

March Update

Hey everybody! I can’t believe my work on my Kickstarter campaign is quickly coming to an end. As one of my quotes, by Jack Kerouac, says “What is that feeling when you’re driving away from people(Kickstarter) and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing? – it’s the too-huge world vaulting us, and it’s good-bye. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies.” With that said, some awesome stuff has happened this month. I managed to make a deal with a manufacturer in China. I just received some samples from him and I just finished trying them out. I also plan to continue talks with a big US retailer to try and get on their shelves. Things are looking promising!

February Update

Sorry for no January update! Shortly after the New Year, I headed off to Bogota, Colombia for three weeks where I led a group of students from MIT to work and learn with C-Innova.

December was an exciting month for Painless Prototyping. The first batch of Kickstarter orders were due and they were all shipped out in the first week of the month. I managed, to mess up an order, and as another learning experience, got to write up my return and replacement policy as well as establish a customer support system.

From the point of shipping out the first batch of units to now, things have been pretty quiet. I manned the support email to deal with any issues and ordered more parts for the second batch of units. I spent the rest of the month preparing for the Colombia trip, specifically my Spanish Arduino Workshop, and making all my Christmas gifts from wood.

Parts didn’t arrive before I left for Colombia so i was unable to ship out the second batch of units. Not to worry though since I didn’t promise them until the end of February.

December Update

November has been quite the busy month. While I waited for components and PCBS to arrive, I began learning about product photography and took better photos of the Button Boards to throw up on the website which I also redesigned this month. Additionally, I added some video tutorials the the documentation page. Finally, parts arrived and I was able to assemble and ship the first batch of KickStarter orders. Check out some of the photos below!

October Update

Below you’ll find photos of exciting stuff. As far as non-photo related news, I have met with two influential people in Boston about the future of my startup and I am beginning to think about what’s next. Exciting things to come!
